The position is actually a "firearms instructor plus" position.
The Civilian Rangemaster manages the firing range facilities; conducts training in the safe and accurate handling of firearms and other law enforcement equipment; makes minor repairs to firearms and equipment; may conduct physical training; and performs various administrative, clerical and maintenance duties.
